Viaggio di Maggio is my 14-day, small-group journey that slips into Northern Italy just as spring has fully awakened the vineyards and seaside villages. I limit the group so you never feel rushed or lost in a crowd, more like you are traveling with a well-connected friend who knows which alleyway actually leads to the good pastry.
Across lakeside towns, Cinque Terre's cliffside paths, and the soft hills of Tuscany, you taste the country as much as you see it. One morning you might be shaping fresh pasta in a hands-on cooking class, the next you are swirling a glass of Barbera in a family-run cellar while the winemaker tells stories of last year's harvest. Markets, thermal spas, tiny trattorie, and a few of my favorite "secret" viewpoints are woven in.
