What is the group size for these trips?
To keep the experience highly authentic and personalized, group sizes are strictly limited to a maximum of 8 guests. The "September to Remember" tours require a minimum of 3 guests, while the "Viaggio di Maggio" tours require a minimum of 4 guests to be confirmed.
How long are the tours and what options do I have?
Depending on your schedule, you can choose the comprehensive 16-day package down to targeted regional splits. Options include the full 16-day itinerary, a standard 14-day itinerary, a 12-day itinerary excluding Cinque Terre, a 7-day standalone Tuscany tour, or a 5-day standalone Northern Italy Lake District tour.
What cities and landmarks will we visit?
You will explore iconic cultural hubs and quiet villages across Northern and Central Italy. Highlights include the lakeside town of Cerro, the historic streets of Milan and Florence (featuring Michelangelo's "David"), the coastal trails of Cinque Terre, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the medieval walled towers of Siena, San Gimignano, and Volterra.
What kind of accommodations can I expect?
Accommodations are hand-selected to offer comfort and local charm:
- Lake District: 3 to 4 nights in a large private villa in Cerro with private bedrooms and shared living spaces.
- Cinque Terre: 2 to 3 nights in a cozy Bed & Breakfast or shared villa apartment in Levanto.
- Tuscany: 8 nights in semi-private apartments at a traditional Tuscan Agriturismo (farmhouse) in Peccioli, equipped with air conditioning, a shared kitchen, and a swimming pool.
What is included in the base tour price?
The base price covers your private van transfers from the airport and all internal transportation (including ferry and train tickets). It also features private single or double accommodations, daily breakfast, specialized vineyard lunches, select regional dinners with wine/beer, interactive cooking and language lessons, and pre-booked admission tickets to all museums, galleries, and thermal baths listed on the itinerary.
What is excluded from the tour price?
Airfare is not included (though bulk/consolidator fares can be requested). Additionally, lunches and dinners not specifically outlined in the itinerary schedules, personal spa treatments, unlisted city tour guides, general travel insurance, and gratuities are separate expenses. Note that purchasing travel insurance is mandatory for all tour participants.
What are the payment and booking policies?
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required within 5 days of your initial booking. An additional 30% non-refundable payment is due 90 days before your travel date, and the remaining balance must be cleared 30 days prior to departure. Payments are accepted via Venmo, Zelle, or check. Credit card payments are accepted but will incur a 3.5% transaction processing fee.
